Q: Do you allow pets?
A: No, the hotel does not allow pets.
Q: Can I smoke in the hotel?
A: The Ports Hotel is a non-smoking hotel.
Q: Do you have a restaurant, fitness centre, conference centre or swimming pool?
A: No, we do not have any of those.
Q: Do you have internet access in the rooms?
A: There is free high speed cable internet access in all units. Cables are available at the front desk free of charge. We also provide a computer with high speed internet access in the hotel lobby.
Q: What time do I have to check out?
A: Check-out time is 12:00 noon. If you would like to check-out after this time, please consult the hotel staff in advance to see if this is acceptable. Check-out after 2:00pm and before 7:00pm may be subject to a fee equivalent to half a day's rent. Check-out after 7:00pm may be subject to a fee equivalent to a full day's rent.
Q: What time can I check in?
A: Check-in time is 3:00 pm. You may check in before this time if the room is available.
Q: What parking facilities do you have?
A: All guests may use the hotel parking lot free of charge. It is an outdoor parking lot directly beside the ports hotel.
Q: What if I don’t stay for an exact number of weeks or months?
A: If you stay for more than a week but less than a month, you pay the weekly rate divided by 7 for each extra day that you stay. If you stay for more than a month, you pay the monthly rate divided by 30 for each extra day that you stay.This does not apply during high season ( June 16 to September 15). In high season only daily, weekly or monthly rates apply. Rates will not be pro-rated.
Q: If I stay for a week or month spanning two periods with different rates, which rate do I pay?
A: You pay a weighted average of the two rates. For example, if you stay for 1 week with 3 days in a period where a rate of $350 per week applies and 4 days in a period where a rate of $399 per week applies you pay $350/7x3 + $399/7x4 = $378.
Q: Do you have any recreational equipment available?
A: We have a sailboat and bicycles for rent during the summer.
